Head of Growth (m/f/d)
Strategic growth responsibility for a Europe-wide testing and laboratory network with a revenue volume of €400 million
CERTANIA is a Europe-wide group of companies specializing in laboratory, testing, and certification services. As Head of Growth, you will assume overall responsibility for group-wide growth – from the strategic management of all marketing and sales channels to the design of scalable go-to-market architectures, performance measurement, and management communication at the C-level.
You will be the key driver of our new customer acquisition across all portfolio companies – with direct responsibility for market penetration and revenue growth for a group with revenues of several hundred million euros. You will work closely with the management, the CEOs of our portfolio companies, and our advisory board, and independently manage initiatives that enable direct growth.
This role is aimed at a strong entrepreneurial personality with a leadership mindset, high strategic depth, and a clear track record of success in building scalable growth structures.
Your mission

Strategic Responsibility & Growth Architecture
- Development and management of a group-wide growth strategy, coordinated with management and the board.
- Establishment of scalable marketing and sales systems that combine operational excellence with strategic management.
- Responsibility for new customer acquisition and lead generation within a diversified group.
- Definition and implementation of go-to-market roadmaps for new products, markets, and acquisitions.
Campaign Management & Performance Management
- Management of cross-channel B2B campaigns (digital and analog) with a focus on conversion, reach, and efficiency.
- Establishment of a group-wide performance controlling system including funnel analysis, conversion tracking, and budget management.
- Preparation and communication of strategic results at the top management and board levels.
Leadership Responsibility & Enablement
- Establishment and management of an interdisciplinary growth team (campaigning, data, marketing ops).
- Further development of digital Sales infrastructure (CRM, marketing automation, analytics)
- Management of specialized agencies and service providers as well as coaching internal units in subsidiaries
Your profile

10+ years of management experience in building and scaling marketing and sales systems with measurable sales impact
Proven success in leading go-to-market strategies in complex B2B environments – ideally regulated markets (e.g., MedTech, analytics, ESG, life sciences)
Experience in management reporting and corporate controlling, including presentations to advisory boards/executive boards
Strategically minded, operationally powerful personality with a high level of personal responsibility, analytical depth, and strong implementation skills
Confident in leading growth-oriented teams and in using digital tools (CRM, funnels, automation, attribution)
